Copper sheets are available from 12oz – .125” thickness in a variety of sheet sizes, tempers and alloys. We can provide the copper sheet stock needed for almost every job. The most popular stocked sizes for architectural applications are 16oz and 20oz.
Copper sheet and coil coated on both sides with a rugged tin/zinc alloy. Available in sheet and coil stocked in 16oz, and 20oz. 24oz and 32oz may be available on a job by job basis.
Anodized Aluminum is available in clear, black, and a variety of bronzes. Material thickness ranges from .032” – .125” in coil and sheet. It is created when 5005 aluminum sheet is passed through an electrolytic process to form a layer of aluminum oxide that will protect the aluminum beneath it. The aluminum oxide layer has much higher corrosion and abrasion resistance than aluminum. It provides an attractive, minimum-maintenance, highly durable exterior for roofs, curtain walls, ceilings, floors, escalators, lobbies and staircases.
Mill finish aluminum is available in sheet, coil, bar and angle. Standard sheet stock thickness ranges from .025” – .125”. A variety of alloys including 3003, 5052, and 6061 are readily available in many different tempers.
Stainless Steel is available in sheet, coil and bar. Stainless is stocked in thicknesses ranging from .015” – .125” in finishes including but not limited to 2B, #4, #8, and BA. Stainless is stocked in 304 and 430 alloys. Other alloys, such as 316, are also readily available.
Zinc sheets are available from .7mm – 1mm in a variety of finishes including blue gray, graphite gray, and bright rolled. Zinc manufactured by Rheinzink is stocked on the floor in sheet and coil.
Bonderized Steel is stocked in sheets ranging from 20 – 24ga but other thicknesses and coil stock are readily available. The material is carbon steel that is put through a phosphate bath and chromate dry. This produces the dull grey color which provides an excellent “primer” for painting applications. Please note the exposed phosphate coating is prone to white rust and should be painted immediately after installation.
Galvanized is available in stock coating weights of G60 and G90 with other coating weights available upon request. It is stocked in sheet and coil in thicknesses ranging from 30ga – 10ga. The material is carbon sheet steel that is zinc coated by the hot-dip process for optimum corrosion resistance. The process results in a layer of zinc on each side of the sheet that is adhered through a strong iron-zinc bonding layer that is formed by a diffusion process.
Lead is stocked in sheet and roll in a variety of thicknesses and sizes. It is a soft and malleable metal. It can be used in roofing and interior applications, such as insulating x-ray rooms.
