Galvanized is carbon steel sheet that is zinc coated by the hot-dip process for optimum corrosion resistance. The process results in a layer of zinc on each side of the sheet that is adhered through a strong iron-zinc bonding layer that is formed by a diffusion process. Available in stock coating weights of G60 and G90 (Other coating weights available upon request).
Galvanized is commonly used in construction, agricultural, HVAC, and other various manufacturing applications.
